The people and stories behind the Landhotel Talblick
It begins. More than 60 years ago. It all started with an inn... A small inn in the equally small town of Oberkollwangen in the beautiful northern Black Forest, which master butcher Gerhard Stoll Senior built up and later expanded together with his wife Gerda. The year 1965 marks the beginning of the Landhotel Talblick. That was a long time ago. But even then, the focus was on certain things that are still of crucial importance to us today: The quality of the products and the well-being of the guest.
From father to son
As was often the case in the past, the first-born bears the father's name. In the case of Gerhard Stoll, however, he not only passes on the same name to his son, but also his passion for cooking. Gerhard Stoll Junior soon followed in his father's footsteps. As head chef, he shapes the culinary line at the Landhotel Talblick and consistently develops it further - to the delight of countless guests from near and far.
Family as a factor for the future
As with the senior, Gerhard Stoll's wife also plays a decisive role at his side: Tanja Stoll, who studied hotel management, consistently develops the conceptual line of our hotel in the northern Black Forest: with a modern signature, attention to detail and a passion for authentic hospitality. The fact that we can now look forward to 4**** stars is both an award and confirmation.
Time out in its most beautiful form
Since the very beginning, our 4* hotel in the Black Forest has been an oasis of relaxation, enjoyment and time out from everyday life. The fantastic location, the wide range of offers and possibilities and, above all, the charm and warmth of a family business make the Landhotel Talblick so unique and popular as a hotel in the northern Black Forest. The fact that many customers have been coming for decades, that there are whole generations of Talblick guests, makes us happy time and time again.
Times change, hospitality remains
The small inn has become a successful family business. A 4* hotel in the Black Forest, in which the 3rd generation is now also involved. Moving with the times without losing its grip. Always being modern, but always remaining true to yourself. These are challenges that we face every day as a hotel in the northern Black Forest. What we fall back on is the compass that guided the founding generation at the Landhotel Talblick: A love of genuine hospitality, a passion for pampering people and making them happy. Nothing less is and remains - our promise to you.

Aus dem kleinen Gasthaus ist ein erfolgreicher Familienbetrieb geworden. Ein ausgezeichnetes 4**** Hotel im Schwarzwald, in der mittlerweile auch die 3. Generation mitwirkt. Mit der Zeit zu gehen, ohne den Halt zu verlieren. Immer modern zu sein, sich aber stets treu zu bleiben. Das sind Herausforderungen, denen wir als Hotel im Nordschwarzwald täglich begegnen. Tanja Stoll
Hotel specialist, hotel business economist (BA), certified wine sommelier and relaxation manager - and all this with all her heart. As a hostess, she not only looks after the well-being of our guests, but has also played a key role in shaping and optimizing many of the current concepts and quality standards of our 4* hotel in the Black Forest over the past few years. From the Landhotel Talblick cuisine to the new relaxation zones in the wellness area - Tanja Stoll combines expertise, sensitivity and modern management.
Gerhard Stoll
Master chef with high standards and a down-to-earth attitude. His signature can be found not only in the menu, but also in the management: clear, honest and quality-conscious - in keeping with the spirit of the founders, he is continuously developing the Landhotel Talblick. Dennis Stoll
As a trained chef, trainer, junior host and certified hunter, he not only brings a breath of fresh air to the kitchen team, but also sustainable game specialties to the plate. With his deep understanding of nature, he ensures that our guests can also experience the Black Forest in culinary terms - wild, honest and regional.
